The rapidly growing electrification of mobility - particularly in public transport - calls for powerful mobile energy storage systems that facilitate travel comfort. It is easily forgotten that these battery packs themselves are temperature-sensitive units: depending on the load or climatic region they have an aversion to excessive cold or heat. Efficient battery cooling systems start right here and keep the battery in an optimal temperature window.

Valeo's intelligent controlled E-Cooler ensures the battery's comfort zone in any case: it relieves the battery from overheating during the charging and discharging process, cools it during the journey at higher outside temperature and even warms up the sensitive Li-Ion batteries when needed as it has a cooling and heating function in one.
